ASI would like to congratulate the President of ASGC in attaining the honorary doctorate degree from Heriot-Watt University. In awarding this honorary degree, world renowned Heriot-Watt is recognizing Emad Azmy's noteworthy contribution to the UAE economy. Not only are his achievements a success story, but he maintains an impeccable personal reputation of a man of principles and honour in a challenging business environment that has seen many others come and go over the years. In recognition of ASGC's impressive financial performance and scale of projects overseen by Mr. Emad, he was also named as the 6th most influential person in UAE's construction sector, featuring in "Construction Week Power 100" of 2017. A total of 295 students graduated at the ceremony and were praised for their efforts by Emad Azmy. "I am proud to receive an honorary degree from Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus. With the university's rich heritage in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, it has produced some of the most talented engineers in the world.
